a great addition to EGC 2009

Master Yang Jae Ho is one of the most respected professionals and leaders in Korean Baduk Community.
His presence in the EGC 2009 will benefit tremendously.
He has a Baduk Academy in Seoul a hub for stong profesionals and a place for intensive training of top level Yongusangs(equivalent to Insei).
The Academy also has been an important centre linking the US high level dans and Korean professionals.

Master Yang Jae Ho is one of leaders for the new generation.

Master Yang's leadership marks the change of baduk culture and the new breed of professionals in Korea.
The new professionals are the result of the systematic and structured training aiming at the excellence of skill in baduk as a sport rather than an esthetic art.
Their social background is of upper middle strata that could afford expensive tuition fee for a number of years until their entry into the professional rank which is different from that of the old generation of financially under previledged.
Consequently, the new generation chooses their leaders who deserve their respect rather than by the seniority in age. The traditional vertical hierachy is not the only virtue to become a leader for the young professionals.
In that respect, Master Yang is a genuine power of the future in Korean Baduk Community.
I hope EGC would appreciate his visit to make the occasion the momentum for the beneficial relationship.
